Africa's Premier Onchain Founders program
Based Founders Fellowship (BFF) - Africa is a 2 week program hosted by UTU, and sponsored by Base, designed to provide an immersive experience for high performing founders, to connect and learn from industry experts how to build high performing crypto ventures in Africa.
BFF - Africa integrates key elements of venture growth and builder support physically in Nairobi, Kenya, with an exciting Demo day to pitch to top global VCs, and receive competitive post-program support.
Selection Criteria:
- Launched with at least 1000 users onchain
- Product serving the African market
- Deployed onchain, but highly interested in integrating Base
- Committed to a 10 day IRL program in Nairobi
- Currently fundraising
- BASED team
Possible verticals your project could be in:
- Prediction Markets
- Stablecoin Use-Cases (local currency stablecoins, and USDC, USDT, eYuan options)
- Onchain Identity
- AI on Chain - Smart Contracts
- Reward Systems (Loyalty points, Cashbacks, and other forms of rewards onchain)
- Safe self-custodial crypto solutions
- SACCOs (Savings and Credit Coops) - Lending, and DAOs on Base
- Any other Based use cases
